Kaziranga(1N), Guwahati(1N)

Day - 1 : Guwahati - Kaziranga National Park

Receive from Guwahati Airport / Rly. Station and proceed to Kaziranga National Park, on the way you may visit Maa Kamakhya Temple (Guwahati). Kaziranga National Park is home of the “One Horned Rhinoceros”. It will take around 5 hour journey to reach Kaziranga. It is one of the oldest national park in Assam on the south bank of river Brahmaputra. Spread across 430 sq.kms, it is a dazzling mosaic of interspersed with vast tracts of marshes and shallow pools that are a favorite haunt of this celebrity pre-historic beast. The main residents of the park include Wild Elephant, Hog deer, Barasingha, Indian Bison, four species of Deer, Tiger, Leopard, Capped Langur, Wild Boar, Gibbon, Hornbill, Egret, Heron, Fishing Eagle and a host of migratory birds including Pelicans. By reaching Kaziranga check in a hotel / resort. Evening you may visit the nearby villages to experience the rural lifestyle, Tea Garden, Orchid farm, Cultural Program etc. Overnight stay at Kaziranga.

Day - 2 : Kaziranga - Guwahati

Early in the morning (5:00 am) we will start for Elephant Safari inside the Western range of the park for one hour and come back to the hotel for breakfast. After breakfast check out from hotel and we will take you inside the Central range of the park in a Jeep safari. After completing the safari back to Guwahati. On arrival at Guwahati check in a hotel and after freshenup you may enjoy River Cruise Ride on the Mighty Brahmaputra River to watch the fantastic sunset scenery with good music and light snacks. Stay overnight at Guwahati.

Day - 3 : Guwahati local sightseeing - Airport / Rly. Station Drop

After breakfast check out from hotel and visit some sightseeing of Guwahati, the city is a major tourist place in Assam due to its scenic natural beauty. The River Mighty Brahmaputra flowing through the city. Visit World smallest River island Umananda Temple, Sankardev Kalakhetra, Shri Balaji Temple which is very beautiful and clean etc.. Evening we will drop you at Guwahati Airport / Rly. Station with an ever lasting memory.
