Day - 1 : Guwahati Arrival

Our executive will receive you from Guwahati Airport/ Rly.station and transfer to hotel at Guwahati city. The city is a major tourist place in Assam due to its scenic natural beauty. The river Mighty Brahmaputra flowing through the city. After freshen up you may visit Maa Kamakhya Temple, River Island Umananda, State Museum / State Emporium, Srimanta Sankardev Kalakhetra, Shri Balaji Temple which is very beautiful and clean. Basistha Ashram Temple Located in the outskirts of Guwahati city. In the evening enjoy River Cruise Ride on the river Mighty Brahmaputra to view the fantastic sunset scenery with good music and light snacks. Overnight stay at Guwahati.

Day - 2 : Guwahati - Kaziranga National Park

After breakfast check out from hotel and proceed to Kaziranga National Park, the home of the “One Horned Rhinoceros”. It will take around 5 hour journey to Kaziranga National Park. It is one of the oldest national park in Assam on the south bank of river Brahmaputra. Spread across 430 sq.kms, it is a dazzling mosaic of interspersed with vast tracts of marshes and shallow pools that are a favorite haunt of this celebrity pre-historic beast. The main residents of the park include Wild Elephant, Hog deer, Barasingha, Indian Bison, four species of Deer, Tiger, Leopard, Capped Langur, Wild Boar, Gibbon, Hornbill, Egret, Heron, Fishing Eagle and a host of migratory birds including Pelicans. By reaching Kaziranga check in a hotel / resort and after freshen up experience the vehicle safari inside the Eastern Range of the park. Evening you may visit nearby villages to experience the rural lifestyle, Tea Garden, Orchid farm, Cultural Program etc. Overnight stay at Kaziranga.

Day - 3 : Kaziranga - Shillong

Early in the morning (5:00 am) we will start for Elephant Safari inside the Western range of the park for one hour and come back to the hotel for breakfast. After breakfast we will take you inside the Central range of the park in a Jeep safari. After completing the safari check out from hotel proceed to Shillong, also called as “Scotland of East”. It takes almost 7 hours to reach the destination. While traveling you may visit the majestic Barapani (Umiam Lake) wrapped in the beauty of an assortment of green Khasi- Pines and surrounded by sylvan hills and blue skies. On arrival at Shillong check in a hotel. After freshenup enjoy local sightseeing of beautiful Shillong which Includes –Ward’s Lake, Lady Hydari Park, local market Police Bazar etc. Overnight stay at Shillong.

Day - 4 : Shillong - Cherrapunji

After breakfast proceed to Cherrapunji which is credited as being the wettest place on the Earth. On the way visit Shillong Peak the highest peak of Meghalaya which is at an altitude of 1965 meters above the sea level, Elephant Falls, definitely the most popular tourist site of Shillong, Duwanshing Syiem viewpoint. Nohkalikai Falls, Eco Park, Mausmai Cave, Seven Sister Falls, Thangkharang Park etc. Evening back to Shillong and overnight stay at Shillong.

Day - 5 : Shillong - Guwahati Airport / Rly. Station Drop, Tour End

After breakfast check out from hotel and transfer to Guwahati Airport / Rly. Station with an everlasting memory. (if time permits visit some local sightseeing of Shillong/ Guwahati)
